This blog is only kind of about food. It is more about an idea I have. The idea of using the awesome resources we have here in Port Huron. Sure we have the water, but it isn't very lucrative to to a lot of the businesses in the area since there is no place for people to just pull their boat up, jump out and have dinner and a couple drinks, or be able park their boat and stroll around town and see the shops and galleries. It seems so easy to find something to complain about when it comes to dining out in this area, but I think I have been stumped this time. My wife and I both had Thursday Sept 11 off, and needed to take care of a few things downtown. After we had the mandatory issues out of the way, we decided to have lunch. When does the need for convenience overpower the desire for quality? I know almost every person including myself has guilty pleasures when it comes to food, so the occasional fast food burger is something you might crave every now and then. What I am getting at, is the isles and isles of microwavable this and that, that plug up entire sections of the grocery store.
