First of all I want to appoligze for not being real consistant latley with the food blogs but I have been very busy with a ton of different projects. I have been doing some Cooking Class Party scheduling, attempting to add baking to my list of cooking skills and not so on the food subject I have been reading up on my responsibilities as an ordained minister while performing a wedding or unity ceremony.
OK anyway back to food. I just want to mention as much as I love the summery warm weather and being able to barbecue and grill on a regular basis I love this time of year when it starts to cool down and you actually have the option to cook anything you are craving even if it's a slow cooked pot roast with all the yummy root veggies that go with it without dying from the heat or actually feeling sick from there being too much heat and the A/C unit is starting to melt and run down the wall. Who wants to eat when its that hot in your house anyway. Over the next 2 to 3 months this freedom only gets better. For this time frame you still have great produce, the days are still long, the weather is tolerible whether you want to cook inside or out or if you are going to do a quick grill job outside or if you are going to braise lamb shanks for 2-3 hours in the oven. So take advantage of this short period of time when the sky is pretty much the limit when it comes to fresh product availability, mild temperatures and having the sun available to light the view.
If you have any food related comments or questions you can send them to me thru here. If you want to send them public for the whole world to see or in private you will be responded to in what ever way you send your questions or comments to me.
