BooCoo Bay Friends like MinDQ
|
If nothing else, I think I have met some pretty cool people through BooCooBay. One of those people I would like to talk about today. Her name is Mindy and she goes by MinDQ.
Mindy has sent me messages praising my blogs, which I love, so don't be bashful. If you like what you read, let me know.
Through our messages, we have devolped a rapport of sorts as well.
She had asked me to do a secret shop of the downtown Dairy Queen, and asked me to look for some specific things. Overall I was happy with my visit, but Mindy wasnt happy with what I reported back to her. She has very high standards that she wants her employees to be held to, and I for one think thats wonderful! I still need to take my hubby there as I am pretty sure she owes us some free goodies, but thats my laziness not her fault.
I wanted to take a moment and let everyone know that the Dairy Queen on Huron Avenue downtown plans to be open until at least December, which I think is AWESOME! Just because it isnt 90 outside doesnt mean people don't want ice cream! Also my youngest son turns 8 in November and he LOVES DQ ice cream cakes!
I would imagine the length of time they stay open will depend at least partially on the amount of business they get, so please folks dont forget about them. They have pretty darn good food there too, so if you work in the downtown area, or go through on your way home from work, why not stop in and grab lunch or dinner from there, as well as an after meal treat!
