Due to the location of my office I have the unfortunate experience to see the many job applicants that crawl through the door searching for work. Although I don't want to lump all applicants into the same sorry bucket many of these people haven't a chance to ever gain any meaningful employment. In fact, sad to say, I wonder how many are seriously looking for employment or just fulfilling the minimal requirements to continue receiving assistance.

If you are serious about obtaining employment here are a few obvious no-no's when applying for a job!

-  Having fingertip to jawbone tattoos. (Unless you're a rock star or a tattoo artist what the hell were you thinking? It's too late to remove this 'art' but at least hide them as well as possible.)

- Having God-awful piercing on areas of the human body not fit for piercings. (Again, unless you're a rock star or a piercing artist what the hell were you thinking? Hide this fashion wreckage when applying for a position.)

- Being accompanied by husbands, boyfriends, wives, girlfriends, children etc... as they complete their application.

- Having no means to get to work, due to no car or no license, if the company decides they need you now!

 This is just a small list of eye-witness accounts I witness every week. If you want a job avoid the deadly sins above.
